2. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right at any time to request information about your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of its processing. You also have the right to have this data corrected, blocked, deleted, or its processing restricted, as well as a right to data portability. Any consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by sending an informal email to info@iic-global.net.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (lfdi.baden-wuerttemberg.de), the data protection authority of the German federal state of Baden-Württemberg.

3. Collection of general information when visiting the website (server log files)

When you visit this website, our hosting provider OVH SAS, France, automatically collects information that your browser transmits: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not combined with data from other sources and is automatically deleted after 3 months. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the technically error-free provision of the website).

4. Cookies and consent management

Our website uses cookies – small text files that your browser stores on your device. On your first visit, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookie categories via a consent banner (Complianz). We may set strictly necessary cookies without consent on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as we have a legitimate interest in the website functioning properly.

5. Multilingual website (WPML)

This website is provided in several languages using the WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) plugin: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish, and English (UK). You can select your language via the language switcher on the website; otherwise, the language is pre-selected based on your browser’s language setting.

We use the following strictly necessary cookies to manage language selection:

6. Web analytics with WP Statistics

We use the self-hosted analytics tool WP Statistics to statistically evaluate the use of our website (e.g. page views, referral sources). Unlike Google Analytics or comparable services, the data is processed exclusively on our own servers; no data is transferred to third parties or to third countries.

7. Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the details you provide in the form, including the contact information you enter there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered into the contact form is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided your inquiry relates to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), where such consent has been requested.

To protect against automated spam submissions via the contact form, we use a honeypot function that does not transmit any personal data to third parties.

Data submitted via the contact form remains with us until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
