The economic development of European countries is optimistic. Statista reports growth in Germany of 3.2% (2021) and 3.1% (2022). Other markets, such as France, are coming out of the current situation with a 5.5% more momentum.
Overall, it can be seen that the quick response of political activists and the huge sums of money parallel to the ECB’s bond-buying program are having an impact.
At the same time, companies are forced to analyze processes and, where possible, integrate more flexible external staff into their processes. This has sparked a huge push towards the digitization of the economy, which has been felt in the form of a sharp increase in demand by numerous IT
Software solutions from different fields are becoming more and more important. No clear trend could be discerned, as catch-up effects may also have played a role. It is important for companies and authorities to digitize the provision of information and protect the data and its availability. The German market is currently in a situation of optimizing and integrating IT into work processes. In the not-too-distant future, however, data security will also become a key issue, as numerous attacks against systems have been shown. Awareness of this place will increase significantly in the coming months.
Demand for IT solutions is currently particularly high in healthcare and public administration. Many workflows are under scrutiny here or can no longer function as before.
