France experienced a growth of 2.8% in technology consulting in 2016, a 2.5% increase in consulting and services and a 3.5% growth in software publishing.
The “Synthec Numérique” (1800 members companies, 80% of the turnover, 52 billion euros in 2016) plans for 2017 an increase in growth compared to 2016.
“Synthec Numérique” forecasts growth of 3.2% for technology consulting, 2.6% growth in consulting and services, and a 4% growth in software publishing.
The SaaS model is the model that brings growth with a net value creation of SaaS on the French market of 330M € in 2016. We also note the significant weight of collaborative applications in the SaaS with 53% market share in value, followed by CRM with 51%, ERM applications (HR, Accounting, management, Finance) with 21%, SCM with 14%.
The sectors that drive growth in software publishing are the Banking / Insurance / Finance sector with 48% and the industry sector with 49%.
